Who is UniUni, and why did your order ship with them?

UniUni is a last-mile parcel carrier that delivers ecommerce orders to homes in the United States and Canada. Your order shipped with them because the seller, marketplace or warehouse that packed it picked UniUni for the final leg, usually because it was the cheapest option that met the delivery date for a light parcel going to a home address. It is a real company, founded in Vancouver in 2019, and it now moves more than a million parcels a day.

What UniUni is

Four stat cards on UniUni: the company was founded in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2019; it delivered more than one million parcels a day as of December 2025; its website states 65% US coverage and 80% Canadian coverage; and it reports over 100,000 registered delivery drivers.
The UniUni figures that matter to a shopper or a seller, from the company's own site and filings.

UniUni was founded in 2019 in British Columbia by Peter Lu and Kevin Wang (Financial Post). It grew across Canada first and entered its first US region in 2022 (UniUni). In May 2026 the company said it was delivering more than one million parcels a day, measured in December 2025, with about 80% of its revenue coming from the United States (UniUni press release). Its own site lists 65% US coverage, 80% Canadian coverage, more than 100 warehouses and sorting centres, and over 100,000 registered drivers (uniuni.com).

The delivery model is the part most shoppers notice. UniUni does not run a fleet of branded trucks. It uses an on-call network of drivers who are self-employed or work for other delivery companies, and it adds drivers in busy weeks and scales back in quiet ones (Financial Post). The car at your curb is usually a personal vehicle. Drivers take a photo at the drop, and that photo is the delivery record.

Who ships with them? The Financial Post names Shein, Temu and Amazon as customers, alongside smaller independent retailers. UniUni also lists integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, ShipHero, EasyPost, Easyship and other shipping platforms (uniuni.com), so a small brand's warehouse can hand a parcel to UniUni the same way it hands one to USPS.

Why your order shipped with UniUni

There are three common paths that end with a UniUni driver at your door.

  1. A cross-border handoff. You ordered from an overseas seller on a marketplace. The parcel flew to the US in a consolidated shipment, cleared customs, and a logistics partner handed it to UniUni for local delivery. The eBay thread that prompted this article describes exactly that: an order from a seller in China moved from Orange Connex to UniUni for the final mile (eBay Community).
  2. Rate shopping at a US warehouse. A brand or its fulfillment partner prices every label across several carriers and picks the cheapest one that meets the promised date. For a light parcel going to a home inside UniUni's footprint, UniUni often wins, because regional carriers skip the residential surcharge that UPS and FedEx add to home deliveries. Our regional carriers guide explains when they win and when they lose.
  3. A marketplace's own routing. Large platforms route by ZIP code and weight. If your address sits in a UniUni delivery zone and the item is small, the platform may choose UniUni without the seller ever seeing the choice.

At BoxHero, UniUni is one of the 12+ carriers every label is priced against. It gets the parcel when it is the cheapest option that still meets the delivery date, which in practice means light boxes to homes in its coverage area. Our UniUni carrier page lists the size and weight limits we use.

How UniUni tracking works

  • UniUni tracking numbers usually start with UUS and run about 19 characters (Ship24). Enter the number on the UniUni tracking page.
  • To see the delivery photo, open your tracking result, choose View Delivery Confirmation, and enter the ZIP or postal code for the parcel (UniUni FAQ).
  • If the first delivery attempt fails, UniUni says a reattempt usually happens within 48 hours. If the second attempt fails, the parcel goes back to a UniUni warehouse and is held for 30 days. A status of "storage" means you need to contact support to arrange redelivery (UniUni FAQ).
  • UniUni does not deliver to USPS PO boxes or post offices. An order shipped to a PO box will be rejected and needs a street address (UniUni FAQ).

Tracking says delivered, nothing at the door

Four numbered steps for a UniUni package marked delivered that did not arrive: open UniUni tracking, choose View Delivery Confirmation, enter your ZIP and check the photo; ask your household and check the mailroom, concierge desk, building office and neighbors; call UniUni support at 1-800-282-2468 between 10 am and 9 pm Eastern or open a ticket in the Help Centre; and if UniUni does not resolve it, ask the seller or marketplace to open a claim for a replacement or refund.
The four steps UniUni's own support article recommends when a parcel is marked delivered but has not arrived.

This is the complaint behind most "who is UniUni" searches. The delivery photo is your best evidence, so start there. Here is the order UniUni's own support article recommends, with the contact details it publishes (UniUni support).

  1. Open the tracking page and view the delivery confirmation photo. Check whether the door, porch or lobby in the photo is yours. If it is not, you have proof of a misdelivery.
  2. Ask everyone in your household, then check the mailroom, concierge desk, building office and nearby neighbors. Gig drivers sometimes leave parcels in a shared spot.
  3. Contact UniUni support. The published line is 1-800-282-2468, open 10 am to 9 pm Eastern, or submit a ticket through the UniUni Help Centre. Support can pull the driver's delivery record.
  4. If UniUni does not resolve it, go back to the seller or marketplace and ask them to open a claim for a replacement or refund. The seller holds the shipping contract, so the claim runs through them.

Two things are different from a USPS case. There is no GPS scan to request, so the photo carries the weight. And the seller's warehouse can open the inquiry with UniUni directly, which is usually faster than a shopper working through a chatbot. If you are the seller, our delivered-but-not-there playbook covers the refund timing and the documentation to keep.

What this means if you sell online

UniUni is cheap on the right parcel and unfamiliar to most shoppers. That combination creates support tickets. If your warehouse routes to UniUni, do three things. Name the carrier in your shipping confirmation email so the customer is not surprised. Make sure your checkout rejects PO boxes for any shipping method that can route to UniUni. And keep the proof-of-delivery photo attached to the order in your system, so the first reply to a "where is my package" email already has it.

At BoxHero we treat UniUni as a tool with a narrow job: light parcels, home addresses, inside the footprint. Everything else goes to USPS, UPS, FedEx or another regional carrier, and the rate shop decides. If you want to see how we route a specific order, ask us and we will show you the carrier choice on a real label.
