Storage, pick and pack, shipping, and returns. Your invoice is itemized against real usage, so every number on it traces back to something that actually happened on the floor.
A flat monthly rate for the space your inventory occupies. Not a per-pallet meter that creeps up every time a container lands. We agree the footprint you need, you get that footprint, and the number stays the same month to month until the footprint actually changes.
A base rate per order, plus a smaller rate for each additional unit in that order. A one-unit order costs the base. A ten-unit order costs the base plus nine. That is the whole formula, and it is the one line most people want to see modeled before they move, so we model it on your real order mix before you sign anything.
Postage is passed through at cost. We do not mark up labels and we do not keep the spread between what a carrier charges us and what appears on your invoice. Where our rates beat yours, the saving is yours. If you already have your own carrier accounts, we will ship on them instead.
The first ten returns each month are handled at no charge. After that it is $2 per return to receive it, inspect it, and either put it back into sellable stock or quarantine it. Most brands never reach the tenth, which is the point of pricing it that way.
Most 3PL invoices are hard to read because the fee schedule and the activity report are two different documents. Ours are the same document. Here is the short version of both halves.
Because a number on a page is not a quote. Two brands shipping the same order volume can land a long way apart depending on units per order, product size, where their customers are and how much space the inventory needs. What we can promise is the structure above: storage, pick and pack, shipping at cost, returns. Send us a month of real orders and we will price those four lines against them, and show you the working.
It means the postage line on your invoice is the amount the carrier billed us for your labels. No percentage on top, no rounded-up rate, no held spread. Plenty of 3PLs quote a low pick rate and make it back on postage. You can check ours: the carrier line is itemized per shipment, so it reconciles against a tracking number.
Yes. If you have negotiated rates you are happy with, we will plug those accounts in and ship on them. Postage then bills to you directly and never touches our invoice at all. Most brands end up running a mix, ours on some services and theirs on others, and rate shopping picks whichever is cheaper per shipment.
No term commitment and no minimum order count. If a month is slow, the invoice is small. We would rather earn the next month than lock you into twelve of them. The only thing we ask for is enough notice on a wind-down to get your inventory back to you properly.
Monthly, itemized against the activity in your dashboard for that period. Storage as one line, pick and pack broken out by orders and units, shipping listed per shipment with the carrier and service, returns counted against your ten. Every figure on it traces back to something you can open and look at. If a line does not make sense, it is a phone call, not a ticket.
Pick and pack and shipping are usage-based, so they move with you automatically. Storage is the line that needs a conversation, because a peak season footprint is a real commitment of floor space. We would rather agree that in advance than let it appear as a surcharge after the fact.
We will read your current 3PL's invoice line by line, tell you what each charge is actually for, and price the same month under the four lines above. If you come out ahead, we will show you by how much. If you do not, we will tell you that too.
