What we collect on this site, what we do with it, the analytics and advertising tools we run, and how to opt out.
This policy covers boxhero.com and the forms, calculators and booking tools on it. It is written by BoxHero Logistics, 905 Remsen Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11236. The client dashboard at 3plhub.boxhero.com and ShipLane have their own terms.
Things you give us. Your name, business name, email, phone number, what you ship, your order volumes, and anything you type into the quote quiz, the pricing calculator, the estimate email form or the booking form.
Things collected automatically. Pages you visit, buttons you click, time on page, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, the site that sent you here, and any campaign tags on the link you arrived from. We also keep the first page you landed on and the last button you clicked before contacting us, so we know which page brought you in.
Cookies and browser storage. Covered below.
Google Analytics. Measures visits, clicks and form submissions. Google gets your IP address, device details and the pages you view. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's privacy policy. To opt out, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram). We use the Meta Pixel for two things. It tells us which visits lead to a quote, so we know which ads work. And it lets us show BoxHero ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited this site. When you visit, Meta receives your IP address, the pages you view here, and actions such as starting a quote or booking a call. Meta may match that to your Facebook or Instagram account. We may also upload the email addresses of people who contacted us, in hashed form, so Meta can show our ads to them or to people like them. Meta's use of this data is governed by Meta's privacy policy.
To opt out of Meta retargeting: open Facebook Ad Preferences, go to Ad settings, and turn off "Ads shown off of Meta" and "Activity information from ad partners." You can also opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info.
When you submit a form, we also pass your email and phone number to Meta in hashed form so it can match you to an account. On this site you can turn advertising cookies off at any time with the "Privacy choices" link in the footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising cookies stay off automatically. Visitors in the EU and UK are asked before any advertising cookie is set.
Calendly. Runs the booking calendar. Your name, email and the time you pick go to Calendly.
GoHighLevel (LeadConnector). Our customer database. Stores your lead details and sends our emails and text messages.
Webflow. Hosts this site and receives form submissions.
Each of these companies handles data under its own privacy policy. We pick vendors that let us delete your data when you ask.
We set first-party cookies and browser storage for analytics, to remember where you came from, and to keep your place in the quote quiz. Google and Meta set third-party cookies for the tools above. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them. Some features, like saved quiz progress, will not.
We do not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals. The opt-outs above work regardless.
If you give us a phone number, we may text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the vendors listed above so the site and our follow-up work, and with Meta and Google as described, for advertising. We also share it when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Under California law, letting Meta use your site activity for advertising can count as "sharing." You can opt out using the Meta settings above or by emailing us.
Lead and contact records stay in our customer database until you ask us to delete them or the record has been inactive for three years. Website analytics data is kept for 14 months.
You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email 3pl@boxhero.com with the subject "Privacy request." We answer within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for asking. California residents have these rights under the CCPA and can use the same email.
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we change this policy we update the date at the top. If the change matters, we say so on this page.
